There are several reasons that a red exclamation point will show up on one your folders on your iPod. It could be that your battery is low and that you need to recharge it. If you know your battery is charged and still see the icon it could mean that you have the wrong version of iPod software. To fix this, you will need to update or restore your iPod. Before doing that though, reset your iPod just to make sure that it didn’t just need to be restarted. If charging, updating or restoring, or resetting your iPod doesn’t work, contact your local Apple Genius Bar for additional assistance.
