It is easy to edit videos on your iPad if you want to shorten them by removing the end or beginning of the video. All you have to do is load the video from your gallery. When it opens you will see small black handles, one positioned at the beginning of the video, and one at the end. Just tap and hold one of those and drag it to the left or right depending on how you want to shorten your video. This will work the same on all of your iOS devices.
When you have positioned the handles where you want your video to start and end tap on the Trim button at the top of the screen. From this point you will be able to save the video as it is or “Save As” to create a second video if you also want to keep the full length version. That’s it! If you want to do more extensive editing, you will want to look into movie editing apps. iMovie is considered the best app for editing your iPad and other iOS device videos with.
