The other two games in the Ragdoll Blaster series gained quite the following. One thing that I though was pretty cool was how each game had its own kind of style. And that is the same thing here with Ragdoll Blaster 3. But how doe sit match up with its two predecessors is the big question.
The other two Ragdoll games had there own style like I mentioned before the first game had a kind of scruffy doodle style of graphics. And the second one had a somewhat more polished look to it. For Ragdoll Blaster 3 Backflip Studios have made some really big changes. This time the game is in 3D and it looks great!
The story here is that there is a place called beauty island. And this place is home to a bunch of Ragdolls. They have quite the boring existence. Until one day one of them gets the bright idea to build a huge airship so that they can go and visit other places. The only problem with there plan is that they have no blue prints to build this airship. And that is the point of the game. You need to find the various parts of the airships blueprints.
The idea of the game is that you have a cannon that shoots your Ragdolls and there is a target at the end of the level. You need to get the Ragdolls to the target to earn a piece of the blueprint. The levels though are full of obstacles that will get in your way. So you need to use your brain to figure things out. You have different Ragdolls with different abilities that you will need to use in order to get them to the target. As well as getting to the target there are buttons scattered around the level. You can use these buttons to buy things in the store. The physics engine that is used here is absolutely perfect. If you fail a level it is because you did not aim right or did something wrong not because of the game design.
This is a free game and I love the way that Backflip Studios have gone about this. You get the game for free, but you can buy things in the game if you so wish. This is a great way of going about making a game. I for one never mind throwing the developers a few bucks by buying something from the in game store when they are fair and not obnoxious about it.
In all this is a very fun game. And if you have never heard about the Ragdoll Blaster series before do not worry. You can easily jump into this game without any prior knowledge of the series. If you like games like Angry Birds then I think you will most likely enjoy this.
