Functionality:
This app is a lot like PicFrame, in the sense that it can combine multiple photos into one awesome collage. Split Pic Pro only has 13 frames available for putting your photos in, but it has an interesting feature that sets it apart from other photo editing apps.
Using this app you can effectively “clone” yourself. If you place your device somewhere where it doesn’t move, or have someone take photos of you while keeping the device steady, then you can create a cool cloning effect.
The app takes separate photos of you in different places across a background. So you take 1/3 of the image while in front of a table, then you take the other 1/3 of the image while on the table, and the other 1/3 while underneath the table, you can combine them into one photo.
Since the table or background doesn’t move, it appears as if there are three clones of yourself in the image. Split Pic Pro then lets you customize each clone of yourself by zooming in, changing the borders, blurring the borders, or applying special effects.
Once you’re done with the photo editing you can save the final result to your phone, you can save it, email it, export it, or share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
The Good:
Split Pic Pro has 35 filters that you can apply to your images to really make them stand out. Not to mention that the idea of cloning yourself through this effect is really unique, and is bound to impress your friends and followers.
The Bad:
While using this app I was not able to find any glitches or shortcomings.
Conclusion:
This is a must have app for any iOS user that likes the idea of “cloning” themselves awesome or is interested in making great photo collages. Split Pic Pro is also constantly being updated, so it’s bound to keep improving over time.
