Gameplay:

In this game you start out as a city-man aspiring to be a redneck. The more redneck challenges you complete successfully, the more coins you can earn which can be used to upgrade your redneck character.

Doing well in challenges also levels your redneck up, which will change his appearance and grow his beard.

With over 15 mini-games and 100 items to customize your redneck, this game has plenty of content to keep you entertained. You can even take a photo of your redneck and share him with friends.

The Good:

You can develop a redneck persona using this app while passing the time as well. Whereas other challenge apps just have random challenges, this app has a funny unifying theme around it.

The Bad:

It would be cool if you could make a redneck girl, especially for the girls out there! But I guess when you think of rednecks you don’t think of women rednecks. Still…

Conclusion:

Anyone that enjoys challenge apps with multiple mini-games will enjoy Duck Dynasty: Battle of the Beards. For $.99 it’s an entertaining app, but don’t expect it to be some full-fledged game.
