Putting a new puzzle game in the current iOS market can be tough, but Metamoki Inc more than seem to know what they are doing.
The actual game of Fruit Pop is nice and bright and pleasant on your eyes, but I am sure its the little fruit mascots who will win you over. I love these guys and they remind me of the Munch Bunch characters who used to be on my yogurts when I was a kid. I love the way that the fruit has faces it may not sound like a big deal, but it is better than if it was just some random fruit on there.
Now the game play of Fruit Pop is in my opinion is what has gotten so many people hooked. You see this is a very simple game that is so easy to pick up. I am being serious when I say that any one can fire this up and figure it out. This is because there is no big complicated rules or anything like that. At the same time I think it is one of those games that is very easy to pick up, but hard to master.
The idea of what you need to do in Fruit Pop is blow up fruit. How do I do this you are asking me. Well when you start a game you are greeted with a whole bunch of fruit. You need to connect as many of the same fruit together as you can to make them blow up. You do this by swiping your finger along them. But you need to be pretty accurate as if you accidently press a different fruit you loose your for lack of a better term combo. There is also some strategy involved as well. You will need to think about which route you are going to take when you start swiping because some ways may let you link lets say five fruits together where as another way may only get you three.
What makes the game so exciting though is that you are against the clock. So while you may want to be a bit methodical and work things out before you start matching the fruit. Doing this will cost you valuable seconds. So it is a very delicate balance that you have to master in order to rack up as high a score as possible.
This is a really fun game that is well worth downloading to your device. It is a perfect family game that is suitable for both adults and the kids.
