If you have upgraded to the latest iOS 7.0.6 version, you may have noticed that your iPad heats up very quickly or that the battery seems to be draining more quickly than before. In order to fix this, the first thing you want to do is kill all the apps running in the background. You can do this by double tapping on the Home Button and then swiping up every app card. You can also close three apps all at the same time by using multiple fingers to swipe them up.
After you have killed all the iPad apps that are running in the background, hard reset it by holding the Home Button and Power Button down until you see the Apple logo. After your iPad starts back up, it should begin operating better. It also helps to make sure that you don’t have too many apps all running at the same time and that you clear out your cache from time to time and remove apps you are no longer using.
