Wow talk about a long title for a game. I cannot be the only guy who while reading the title Motorcycle Race Track – Free Car Racing Game imagines a person saying it who does not quite have a grasp on English. Anyway one thing the title certainly does is grab your attention. So lets take a closer look at this.
This game was on the recent end of a nice new update that did a great job of improving the graphics. Now the game has a real nice polished look to it. The game runs pretty darn smoothly as well. In all there really is not much to complain about at all here. I think a great deal of time and effort clearly went into the visuals of this game.
This is a very simple game, but it is also very addictive. Me, my kids and even my wife have fallen under this games spell. The truth is that there really is not a great deal to this game. You play as a biker and you are racing your hog (does calling a motorcycle a hog make me sound cool? Probably not) any way you will go as fast as you can for as far as you can without wrecking your bike by crashing into the other vehicles that are on the road.
Now this is a game that uses motion controls. Anyone who knows me will know that I am not the biggest fan in the world of motion controls, but Motorcycle Race Track actually has some really nice and tight motion controls. It reads the movements you make very well. You know a game has good controls when the reason for you crashing is your fault and not down to any issues with the games controls. By taping and holding the bike you can make it go faster. One cool thing that you can do is make your motorcycle pop a wheelie. You do this by tapping, but it is quite risky as if you try and do it at the wrong time you will probably end up slamming into some one. Overall the game has a very nice and easy to pick up control scheme.
Overall this is not a game that is absolutely stacked with content. This is a great little game that is perfect if you are on the bus or if you have maybe five mutes of free time at work. There is nothing complex, just some good racing fun. It is a game that can be played by people of all ages so it is well worth downloading if you have a family who all use the one iPad. The game is free, but you can pay for a full version. Which is only a couple of bucks and as it would be helping out a small developer. A developer whose heart is clearly into gaming. Then I think it really is worth throwing them the couple of bucks.
