Ubisoft are back with there latest iOS game Nutty Fluffies Rollercoaster. If that is a name that does not grab your attention then I have no clue what the heck would. Truth be told this has been out a little while now, but it has just recently gone free to play.
Nutty Fluffies is a very nice looking game. As you will see from you first fire it up this is a game that stars a whole bunch of cutesy animals. These cutesy animals have decided to go on a rollercoaster and it is your job to make sure they are safe. The graphics for the various levels are really well done, but at the same time there is never really anything that will make you overly impressed. Still though everything is nice and smooth so really from a presentation point of view we can’t really have any complaints.
The game play here is pretty much a physics based puzzle game. Each level will see you with a rollercoaster full of cute little animals. You main goal is to make sure that they make it to the end of the ride safe and sound. To do this is actually quite fun and in a way simple. You swipe to the right to make the rollercoaster speed up and to the left to slow it down. You have to keep a eye on what your doing because as tempting as it is to just keep swiping to the right to make go as fast as they can. This will make them fall out which I might add is funny as hell, but its not going to help you beat the level.
As well as getting to the end of the level you need to collect a certain amount of hearts the amount differs from level to level. So in some cases you will need to build up enough speed to make your rollercoaster jump of the tracks to get ones that are high in the air. But you then need to make sure you land the thing properly. It actually is really fun to play and I found my self hooked after a short amount of time.
After a while you will get new carriages for your rollercoaster these will give you what are kind of special powers like being able to go super fast or one that is like a magnet that will make you stick to the tracks. These add a bit more depth to the game play and are actually quite fun.
There is a great amount of replay value as each level has a good amount of things for you to do in order to really beat it. So each level will have to be played through multiple times in order for you to do everything. This also is a great way to play through the game without spending any money in the in app store to unlock all the levels the easy way. Beating the various tasks in each level is quite fun and it to me at least is better than spending money in the in app store.
Overall this is a really fun game. It does get a little repetitive, but for a while it is a nice take on physics based puzzlers. I am sure it is a game that kids will love, but there is enough challenge here to keep adults amused as well. Now that it is free to play I would certainly recommend you give this a try.
