Radar Cast Pro is an application created by WeatherSphere. It costs $1.99 and is available on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
This application puts weather forecasting into your hands. It offers past and future radar images, real-time lightning strikes, and push notifications when it’s about to rain in your area.
The mapping system of Radar Cast Pro is not only in high definition but it also provides a lot of helpful symbols. From severe weather warning boxes, storm direction arrows, hurricane forecast tracks, wildfires, and drought severity, you’ll be sure you’re in good hands with this app.
You can even send weather “postcards” of a forecast in any area around the world. Radar Cast Pro can even export map images if you’d like to save them.
In addition to all of these features Radar Cast Pro also lets you bookmark multiple locations. Then you can setup notifications for these locations. If it’s about to rain or snow, you’ll be notified right away.
The Good:
This app has a plethora of features. It’s really useful for staying ahead of the curveball weather likes to throw us. There are no in-app advertisements or purchases either. So for $1.99 you get every single thing you need and beyond.
The Bad:
While using this application I was not able to find any glitches or shortcomings. Radar Cast Pro simply does what it promises and doesn’t fall short.
Conclusion:
Radar Cast Pro is so good that it makes me wonder about Apple’s stock weather app. The weather notifications, forecasting symbols, and intuitiveness of this app show that Apple has a lot to improve on in their own software. Radar Cast Pro costs $1.99 but it’s worth a whole lot more.
