iPods operate the best at room temperature, which is considered to be about 72 degrees Fahrenheit. However, they should be fine in temperatures between 32 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Anything too cold or too hot is not recommended. If you are going to be in freezing cold temperatures, you can still use your iPod by making sure it is in a waterproof case and keep it close to your body.
