When you no longer want a song in your iTunes account, there are a few steps that you will want to take to make sure that you can delete the song without deleting other content that you want to keep. The first thing to do is to make sure you have a backup just in case something goes wrong. After you have created a backup, you can then view all of your songs by choosing the Grid View.
When you are in the Grid View in your iTunes account, you can conveniently scroll through and highlight the albums or songs that you want to delete. When you have made your choices of the music you want to delete, you can either press the Delete button on your computer’s keyboard, or you can right click on the song and choose delete from the popup menu that will be displayed. After you click delete, iTunes will delete the song from your iPod or other iOS device the next time you sync.
