Although it was a chilly 60 degrees in on May 4th in Bristol, England, it didn’t stop anyone from riding this 300-foot-long waterslide.
The slide was built with crowd-sourced funding after its creator, Luke Jerram, rejected corporate sponsorship. He built it as a one-day art project to let people experience an “extraordinary thing that has been taken away [since the 1900’s].”
What Jerram is referring to of course is care-free fun that you would see children exhibiting in the 1900’s which is almost extinct today.
